Terms

Last updated 22 September 2026

These are the terms for using my websites and for working with me as a coaching client. They are written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, email me before you commit to anything.

Who you are dealing with

Rewire The Mind Coaching Ltd, company number 17145284, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 1 Somerset Close, Godalming, GU8 6FB. Email: rewirethemindcoaching@rewirethemindcoaching.com. Coaching is delivered by Ed Janes, the company's founder.

What the coaching is

Rewire The Mind is one-to-one performance coaching. It is built around one hour on the phone with me every week, plus the work I do in between to understand what is driving your behaviour and build your next seven days around it. It is educational and practical. It is about attention, focus, discipline, habits and identity.

It is not medical care, psychological therapy, or a substitute for either. I am not a doctor, psychologist or psychotherapist. If you have a diagnosed condition, are on medication, or are under the care of a professional, keep working with them. If you are ever in crisis, contact your GP, call 999, or call Samaritans free on 116 123 (UK). Coaching is not the right tool for a crisis and I will say so if I think that is where you are.

Who can apply

You must be 18 or over. Applying does not guarantee a call, and a call does not guarantee a place. I take on a small number of clients and I decide who I think I can help.

How an engagement starts

The order is always the same. You apply. If it looks like a fit, we have a call. On the call we agree exactly what you are buying: the length of the engagement, what is included, the price, and how and when you pay. I confirm that in writing (by email or WhatsApp) before you pay anything. Nothing on the websites is an offer to sell at a particular price. The written confirmation is the agreement between us, and these terms sit underneath it.

Paying

Payment is by bank transfer or card, as agreed in writing. Monthly plans are paid in advance each month. Pay-in-full packages are paid before the first session. If a payment is late I may pause sessions until it is made.

Cancelling and refunds

You have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of paying. The details, including what happens after the 14 days and what happens if you miss a session, are on the refunds and cancellation page, which forms part of these terms.

What I ask of you

What you can expect from me

Results

I cannot promise a particular result. What you get out of coaching depends mostly on what you put in. The messages and screenshots on my site are real, from real clients who gave me permission to share them, and they are their results, not a promise of yours.

Recordings and notes

Some calls are recorded so I can make accurate notes. I will tell you when a call is being recorded and you can say no. Recordings and notes are handled as described in the privacy policy.

Documents and content

The plans, documents, guides and manuals I give you are for your personal use. Please do not copy, sell or share them as your own. The same goes for everything on my websites. You are welcome to share links.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow me to limit. Apart from that, if something goes wrong on my side, the most I will owe you is the amount you have paid me for the coaching in question. I am not responsible for decisions you make in your life, work or health, or for losses that come from them.

The websites

I try to keep everything on my sites accurate and up to date, but I cannot guarantee it. The sites link to other companies' sites (Calendly, Instagram, YouTube, Google). I do not control those sites and am not responsible for them.

Complaints

If you are unhappy about anything, email me at rewirethemindcoaching@rewirethemindcoaching.com and I will reply within five working days. If we cannot sort it out between us, you can use the UK's alternative dispute resolution or the small claims court.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you also keep any extra protection your own country's law gives you. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales, or your local UK court if you are a consumer.

Changes

If I change these terms I will update the date at the top. Changes do not affect an engagement that has already been agreed in writing unless you agree to them.
